Dive flag

Dive flags are required for safety, and often for legal compliance, whenever divers are in the water. They can be displayed on dive boats for boat dives, on the shore for river dives, or carried on a dive float and pulled by the diver for most other dives.

The standard dive flag and float is inexpensive and easy to find. They last almost forever.

Some dive floats also have pockets where you can throw water bottles, extra dive weights, etc.
