Moleskin
From Trail-Finder -- Dedicated to getting you outside
Moleskin, like molefoam, provides a band-aid-like adhesive on one side with a soft, friction-preventing material on the other side. Unlike molefoam, moleskin has no padding between the layers, making it ideal for preventing blisters, or for catching them early. The adhesive sticks to dry surfaces, but not to wet, so if you have a blister which as just popped, it won't stick well to the raw skin, making it relatively painless to remove.
Used properly, and early, moleskin can make it possible to not only continue, but actually continue nearly pain-free, despite problems with blisters or hot spots.
Moleskin is rapidly being replaced with moleskin plus, which is identical to moleskin, except that it includes approximately 1mm of padding.
